Simon is a Chartered Town Planner with over 34 years’ experience - 19 years as a town planning consultant and over 15 years as Strategic Town Planning Manager for Tesco. Simon’s significant experience embraces managing projects across all sectors and at all stages in the planning process, including judicial review. Over the years his clients have included property companies, financial institutions, retailers, developers, house builders, café operators and private individuals. Projects cover all key property sectors. Simon represented Tesco at the CBI, Department of Communities and Local Government and the National Retail Planning Forum and has given presentations to Town Planning Conferences as well as expert evidence at Public Inquiries. At May & Company, Simon is Consultant Head of Town Planning, advising both occupier and landlord clients on all types of planning matters.
